Drums

Drums.  When someone says drums, what do you think of? a band or a guy sitting on a stool hitting a drum set using sticks or his hands or maybe the "drum roll" comes to mind or someone hitting a table making some kind of rhythm.  Whatever comes to mind when someone mentions "drums" you can now add another intrepretation of "drums" to your list.

Mr. B finds the animals water dispenser very intriguing and everytime he crawls into the kitchen he ventures over to the water dispenser.  Maybe it's because he has seen the animals drink water out of it or because it's blue or just because.  He likes to bang on top of this canister with his hand just to hear the noises he can make.  However, he did not stop at the water dispenser.

He found another "drum" that he could put to use in his music-making skills.  This other "drum" was a little too far from his reach from the first "drum" (water dispenser) and so he decided that he wanted to use both "drums" at the same time.  He then reached for the second drum (which is a turkey fryer pot that we recently used to steam crab legs) and started "drumming".

It was fun to watch him go back-and-forth banging on these two "drums" and listening to his baby-boy music skills.

Who needs to buy toy drums when you already have "drums" in your house?
