On our way back from the Cherry Blossom Festival, we were walking across the Memorial Bridge heading from the Lincoln Memorial to the Arlington Cemetary metro stop and saw a crowd of people hanging out watching something that was going on in the Potomac River. We stopped and saw two guys fishing which was kind of unusual for the Potomac River (fyi: it's a very nasty, muddy river). As soon as we stopped to see what all the chaos was about one of the guys was reeling in a fish.
A 45 pound catfish!
I don't know what that catfish was having for dinner but it was the largest fish that I have ever seen!
At least the boys put the fish back in the water...
and congratulated each other on reelin' in a big catch!
This is something you don't see everyday.
