Almost forgot! Benton had his 4 month checkup a couple weeks ago. The doc said he was looking good and had some milestones for a 6 month baby instead of a 4 month. He has started to grab his feet and try to put them in his mouth as well as everything else he gets into, rolls over from his tummy to his back, found his voice--he likes to make "ahh" and "ohh" sounds, reaches and grasps for objects, doesn't like to be left alone (not that we do this often, but we lay him on his playmat and go to the next room for a minute or so), watches and follows either Beau or I, likes to be outside to see the trees and plants.
He weighed in at 12lbs 1 oz and 25 and 3/4in for his height. Doc said his weight was still considered low and his head was measuring small, but his height was right on track. We started to supplement more now that we have increased his bottles to 5 oz and it seems as though we might be increasing them 6oz soon. We can definitely tell he's gaining weight because he is starting to get those little baby rolls; they are just darn cute. Doc gaves us a "go" for rice cereal. She said this will also help him pack on the pounds. Benton hasn't decide if he likes the cereal or not. He will eat it; although it seems he will eat anything that comes close to his mouth. He definitely likes it when Daddy feeds him whether than Mommy. Hopefully after a couple of attempts he will enjoy the cereal more and more. This is all he is getting for now until we get a "go" to start on fruits and veggies.
